WGAL News 8’s meteorologist Christine Ferreira recently spoke to residents and guests of Providence Place of Dover about winter safety and weather trends.
Ferreira said 2017 had the second-latest measurable snowfall in Pennsylvania history, which has been tracked since 1888. Ferreira also shared cold-weather safety tips with the audience.
“Our residents enjoy participating in informative programs led by local experts, like Ms. Ferreira,” Maureen Sterner, community life director for Providence Place of Dover, said. “Regardless of a person’s age, I believe it’s never too late in life to learn something new.”
